Whittier Hospital Medical Center Announces Steve Giordano as New interim CEO


Whittier, California -- Whittier Hospital Medical Center is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Steve Giordano, DNP, ENP, FNP, as its new interim Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Mary Anne Monje, who is retiring after 29 years of service.
Steve Giordano has been an integral part of Whittier Hospital Medical Center, serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer and brings extensive experience in healthcare leadership. He will continue driving the hospital’s mission to deliver excellent healthcare services to the community.
“Steve’s leadership and deep commitment to patient care have been instrumental in our success, and we are confident that he will build upon the strong foundation laid by Mary Anne Monje,” said Jaime Tricerri, interim Chair of the Board of Directors.
“I’m honored to step into the role of interim CEO”, said Steve Giordano. “With 34 years of clinical and operational experience, I understand the complexities of healthcare delivery firsthand. My focus will be on ensuring high-quality healthcare, supporting our dedicated staff, and strengthening the hospital’s role in the community.”
